Employment rate for university graduates

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the employment rate for university students graduating in spring 2025 was 98.0%, the second highest ever.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the umber had fallen to about 95%, but now it's back to pre-COVID levels, so experts say "the impact of the coronavirus is no longer there."

In recent years, companies have been facing a labor shortage, so it's understandable why the employment rate is so high.

However, when I see news about services that proxy people for resignation, I get the feeling that in recent years there has been a growing trend of people quitting their jobs too easily.

I think it's a good thing that the employment rate for college graduates is high, but I also think it's just as important to remain responsible in your work as it is to get a job.
